The Enlightenment and the Romantic Movement
The big hit is our lyrical balance, which is the volume of poetry produced jointly by Wordsworth and Coleridge in 1798. You have Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, a novel which fuses so many different traditions and ideas in prose, and then you have Keats of Oads. And there's much more you could say, but that gives you an example. The dominant mode is poetry, but this is not only a genre or a movement which is about poetry.
