The hunt for October is a good reference. It seems to be furthering on Charlie's point, a moment where it's just the Republican party just out of touch with what people care about. Most Americans have no idea they're not clued into these ginned up conspiracy theories. This is for a very small specific audience in the Republican base that can be animated by these conspiracy theories.
