The Relationship Between Time Perception and Insular Cortex

The body probably is something like sensing constantly signals to your brain, and that's why you are aware of some sort of certain passage of events. And this fits very well with also research. I have conducted with FMRI, so functional resonance tomography, where I could show that a certain region in the brain, the insular cortex, is very much linked to time perceptions. So we have then at least two different senses of time.
