The Court's Decision to Overrule Amendments to Basic Law
The court has never really struck down any amendment to a basic law based on it, but the court did develop these jurisprudence. In certain cases, of course, that in Israel passing a basic law is basically the same procedure as passing a regular law. You just need a title. Once again saying that elected officials, decisions of elected officials based on reasonableness cannot be overruled by the court. And it's not clear, at least to me, that the reasonableness issue is appropriate for such a decision.
