In a lot of the anecdotes, he was specifically and explicitly talking about how do we basically circumvent the parent who doesn't want the child to transition? How do you reinterpret these nonverbal cues the parent is interpreting as not to do with gender. Dan and every other gifted trans psychologists know is about gender and this child's gender diversity. So they are God when they are transitioning people.
