An article from ABC by Denise Martinez-Rimundo, Michael Mendelson, and Lauren Efron reports that Julie hadn't just been shot once, like they initially thought. She'd actually been shot twice. The bullets basically struck her head in the exact same place, which created just one wound instead of two. So her body was just staged to make it look like she'd been sexually assaulted? Right. Dan says that he and Sam came up with this whole scheme to use Wesley to withdraw money out of Sam's account,. but not because Sam killed himself or tried to go on the run.
