Sex Addiction - Is There a Bias?

I think that there is a lot of taboo around sexually explicit materials. People who are sex addiction specialists tend to come from social work, marriage and family therapy backgrounds,. So they've not necessarily gotten what I would consider correct training in how they work with people. Within Orthodox Mormonism, it's just so simple and elegant and easy to say that God talks to prophets and then prophets tells us what's up.
