The Importance of Wa Laya

Walaikah, ba'aldohum, awliyyah, wa ba'al. Walaatina, Amunu, walaam, muahajiru. Those who believed but did not emigrate. This is the Muslims in Mecca. Mala kummin wa laya, tihimin shayt. You have no guardianship. But if they beg you to help, fa alay kummin nassul, then go ahead and help them. And as for those who have disbelieved, they help one another.
