I want to write conversations as an aspirational show about marriage. I was so tired of older women being portrayed for a miserable, tetche-divorce season. Often dementia suffers. They don't even have parts for positive, strong, funny women. And when you have that character as an optimist and as a warm and passionate person, if people are listening and they're going through a tough period or fighting with each other, to hear these two going through a similar thing and then redeeming it at the end and laughing.
