Tesla, Ford, and Stellantis Are Investing in Mining Companies

Volkswagen and Stellantis announced they created a publicly traded mining company producing nickel and copper from two Brazilian mines. Ford, as you mentioned, invested in a nickel processing plant in Indonesia. Jaguar Land Rover has invested in a startup focused on recycling old EV batteries. And Tesla, perhaps the biggest beneficiary of this whole EV boom is reportedly interested in acquiring Sigma Lithium resources.
