The Population of Wolfes in the Wild in 2022
There are a good number of wolves that have also been removed from the wild for just crossing outside of arbitrary lines, like interstate 40. There were no management removals last year. Another factor that we haven't touched on yet is that a lot of the wolves with pups, the packs that have pups or are receiving cross-fustered pups in the wild are getting supplemental feeding.
