The Role of the State in the Third World Oil Economy
Italian state owned oil company ENI was one of the so-called independence which were either private companies producing oil in the US. In a way weirdly these independence in the US looked favorably at the beginning to the creation of OPEC because that would possibly help drive up the price of oil. So why is ENI even in a book of OPEC and actually the founder of ENi Rigo Matei is remembered frankly to this day many of these oil producing countries.
