John Simon's Theory of the Polar Expedition

Simon was gaining in popularity in the West where he was spending much of his time. His biggest and most important convert was an Ohio newspaper editor named Jeremiah Reynolds. Reynolds realized John's theory would have to be accepted by the East for ships to set sail to find the hole in the pole.
