The Witch Hunt in Biddeford

Two other women, mary beer and elizabeth caddy, whoere accused as well. It was quite clear that witch hunters were being brought in from the surrounding country. Accusations are made in a very informal sort of mob rule cona way against the women. The local justices do not know how to cope with these accusations. But they treat the three poor women totally differently from the other two. They're given the name of witches, but unlike their sisters, they have men to speak for them.
