The Assassination of Joe Chung Wamine Hang
In 1955, Nehru offered an Air India plane to Joe and the Chinese delegation. The cashmere princess exploded a few hours after it flew out of Hong Kong's Kitek Airport. Only three crew members survived; 16 people in all were killed. It led to other areas of behind-the-scenes cooperation between Britain and China.
