Ned was released from prison after serving only 11 years of his sentence for the murder of karen and the attempted murder of mary ellen. He would go on to kill again. Ned said his time in prison was like time off. He could kick back, relax and reflect on his life. And honestly, all prison did was feed him for free for 11 years.
