Qatar's laws on homosexuality left a bitter taste, even before the World Cup. Same-sex relations are illegal and punishable by up to three years in prison. You can't be suspected of being gay - that would be like playing Russian roulette. NOS Mohammed is a physician now living in San Francisco in the US. He moved from his home country Qatar in 2011.
