The Importance of Competitive Lineups

As long as you're putting out competitive lineups with at least eight of the nine guys I think that's the thing. David Ross got a lot of criticism for some of the buttons he was pulling earlier in the season when the execution didn't work. The players have started to execute at a pretty high level and now these last 11 games those are starting to work out more often than not. There's something to be said too about managing teams that are actually trying to win as opposed to managing a team that's in a full on tank.
