The game was meant to be played on Friday night, but Arsenal were in the youth cup the previous night. Had it been Friday night, it wouldn't have been allowed to be broadcast because there's this curious Premier League rule that if there's a Premier League match on Sky or BC or Amazon, then clubs cannot show a PL2 game going on at the same time. There was no Monday night football in the Premier League this week, so it opened up the opportunity for Chelsea to broadcast it. The more eyes we can get on PL2 and development football, the betterBecause it is it's really enriching rewarding experience. Plus it's just generally good football, good exciting product.
