The House of Representatives Is Adjourned Until 8 p.m.
The House of Representatives has now adjourned until 8 p.m. after Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy failed on his attempt to become Speaker. Source tell CNN Republicans believe that there may be a path forward between the pro-McCarthy and anti-Mc carthy Republicans, but it's still unclear exactly how that will happen. Some proposals on the table from those attractions is to give them more power, give them more committee assignments,. Give them more say and forcing a vote to announce the sitting Speaker.
