The History of the Lego Company

Denmark's lego company was founded in 19 34 by oley merston. The most popular product at the time was a hand painted wooden duck on wheels. In 19 53, they ditched the austere sounding name and started calling the product lego merston, or lego bricks. During the early 19 fifties, roughly half of all lego sals were still from wooden toys,. whereas the lego binding bricks accounted for only five to seven % of sals.
