Isn't Economics the Queen of the Social Sciences?
John Sutter: I entered graduate school that you could be a professional social scientist in the United States of America and have never read really any economics. Now isn't that a travesty? Isn't that astonishing that I could get through really a whole career? He says there are plenty of reasons for why that is the case, but envy may also play a role. Sutter: Modern economics has created this problem because it tries to use its methods and take over any other type of study.
