The Manchu Campaign of 1630

Thousands upon thousands of rotting, unburied corpses lined the approaches to Beijing in February 1630. The Manchu campaign was not yet over; they subsequently overwhelmed several cities in Eastern Beizelie. Hong Taiji sent Amin, the hero of the two Korean campaigns, who had been serving as regent in his absence, to consolidate and expand gains made south of the Great Wall.
