The Two Biggest Issues in Supply Chain Attacks
We have seen a notable rise in zero day vulnerabilities across some of the biggest enterprises in the last year or two. The second issue is the need for client-side organizations to invest in a strong vulnerability management program with regular patching cycles that are more frequent than just once a quarter. When firms like a fortra or recently like Octa or GitHub get compromised, they become an immediate point of risk for every single one of their clients. It serves to decay trust in that supplier and weakens reputation of both them and their clients resulting in potentially critical financial losses for their business.
