What Made You Become a Specialist in Orthodontics?
I was working in a high end practice, and I remember at the time, had very good mentors around me. As a general practitioner, I was doing a lot of aligner treatments. But I definitely found that there was that little black box of knowledge that I just didn't know. And so, yeah, it was really quite a curveball. It wasn't a specialist training route,. It was a privately funded doctorate whereby I entered into the world of orthodontics just wanting to know more.
