Is There a Difference Between N-Tidal CO2 and Alveolar Dead Space?

N-tidal CO2 is from your alveolar gas. It's an indication that your tube is in the right spot and it also indicates various things like, is bronchospasm occurring? And then have you ever had a sudden drop in n-t tidal CO2? Absolutely. For me, that's an indicator. So often when you see that flat lining of the pulse trace with a reduction in CO2, you're probably going to use the vasopressors at this stage.
