Omicron is milder than the previous variants for two reasons. It's against background of a high degree of immunity, not in unity that has been generated mostly by vaccination, but also by prior infection. The vaccines do give us some action and some protection for a short time period. But those anti bodies thit win after a number of months can become prone to infection. And we now know that even post vaccination, post infection, it is possible to get infected. So i think it really depends on what you want to use the vacine pass for. Vaxins were designed to protect against serious illness,. and have done a fantastic job in o sensing.
