On the first day of school, an elementary school student was killed in more than 20 others hurt when their bus was struck by a mini van. A massive cleanup is underway in southern California following a tropical storm Hilary. The record rain and flooding left entire neighborhoods buried under mountains of mud and debris. Likely causing billions of dollars in damage.
