John Kennedy is told by his national security adviser that there are nuclear missiles in Cuba. The Soviets tell JFK administration officials that we're not going to do anything dramatic in Cuba, certainly not before the congressional elections. So they just assume nothing like that will happen. Robert Kennedy is informed immediately and he's furious. He always had this rape, protective, sort of, clannish attitude towards family and his brother. And so he just utters a whole series of swear words when he finds out he'm furious. But that is the start of the Cuban missile crisis,. It will go on until the 28th of October. There'll be other issues to deal with later. But basically the Cuban
