The Medium Is the Message
The book tries to operationalize a lot of the research that we tend to do almost as kind of constrained lab experiments and see how they actually are put into practice in the real world. Impressionist painters have, i think, from way back, starting with mone and and other artist from his era, really understood how the visual system worked,. The culture itself affects how we render visualization. And so we're still learning from ok, we've spent hundreds of years, effectively sketching on paper, and now we're translating this medium to an interactive medium. It's still to d and then we've still got some data physicalation that we're playing with as well.
