The Importance of Pitching
I think because of the acting, I kind of grafted so hard with constantly messaging people. It kind of felt easier. As soon as I got that byline, I was just like, right next byline and I just kept pitching ideas. Because I didn't know anyone in journalists at all. So it took me a couple of years to really get into the swing a bit. But then arguably, I've had quicker successes of writer than I have had as an actor. That's actually helped me as an actor because now I'm having this second career running parallel. Now the acting is not so much a priority for me.
