When Peter quotes Psalm 117 in the original, or at least the Septuagint reading, it says quite just almost exact. The stone that the builders rejected has become the head of the corner. So again, they're using vocabulary in a set of ideas that are going to matter. And so Jesus is sort of cast in this role as something that's just sort of thrown to the side. But he is actually the sort of the central thing.
