"I was in a bad mood because I just thought, this trip is ruined for the girls or at least this first part of it," she says. "What I told my daughter and her friend,. I said, look, God is our travel agent... It's the only way I stay sane when things go wrong." She adds that if your flight gets canceled, get on the phone with airport staff to make sure you're taken care of.
