Disability and the Profitability of the Disabled
There's a tension, obviously that's important with the category of disability, right? That some people will never qualify as disabled, circumstantially. Disability is an identity that is denied officially to more than it is given. I think we also have to think about what disability erases in relation to debility and how profit is made from that erasure. We often don't talk about so much of disability is about recognizing validity and thinking about things expansively.
