You can only do so much and that's why perfect durability does not exist. If you really want your data to last, encode it into your DNA and pass it on to future generations. It's a dumb question to even ask if something secure is it secure from what? Like heat death of the universe. That's the song that I read that book, like a Bruce Dyer book on security a couple of years ago. And he said, there's no such thing as secure.
