The Role of the Service Sector in the Industrial Revolution
The family wasn't really part of these industries. But they were still economic figures. How did they try and better their situations by the old industries, the so called uneconomic industries? They also tried to improve their situations through expanding new industry which is government service one of the most successful of the great grandsons had a career in the customs administration. These were, in a way, boom industries, but they're not ones that have been thought of as being part of the productive economy.
