What Xi Jinping Didn't Say About the Market Economy

Xi's speech at the Party Congress was disappointing because he barely referred to the market economy. He ended up acting very capriciously against different industries, shutting some down and circumscribing others. The state-owned companies are now moving back toward in terms of where they're putting capital. So all of that is unnerving for China as much as for the rest of the world.
