The Importance of Preserving the Identity of Tibet

There is no space whatsoever for the Tibetans to express their feelings, let alone do other things, political activities. So all your political actions are linked to the welfare of your near and dear ones. If I commit self-immolation today, I have to think many times I may die, but it's my kids and friends who are going to suffer because of that. That is what the Chinese government does. Hoping against hope that the Chinese government will pay some attention to their plight or hoping againstHope that the international community will come to their skill. It's not happening.
