The Decision Was Brave, but You Know There's a Risk

I think the decision was brave, really brave. And I think it worked out brilliantly. It's not so easy to put two players together that have never played together before in the centre of the back. When you make a decision like that that you call brave, but you know there's a risk involved. How does that feel in your gut? Once you made the decision, you were at peace. Absolutely. You don't make the decisions to be validated by the fans or the media or anyone else, you do what you think is best for the team. That's the end, that's the point.
