Germany was one of the biggest european nations dependent on russian oil. It says it wants to get a hundred % of its energy from renewables by 20 35. The e u. Wants to wean itself off Russian fossils by 20 30. They've given themselves only another five years. This is a herculean effort. But i would not stand in the way of u or of the german people. They are determined to do this, and we are determined to support them.
