In a period of three recent years, over a hundred dogs were reported trapped in Montana. "You talk about holding as hostage to safe use of our public land" There's no warning signs and there's no posting required for the trap. The distance they have to put a trap from a trail trailhead is only for roads designated with signage or marked numbered. For wolves, it's a hundred and fifty foot.
