Donna Patterson was forced to leave her job after returning from maternity leave. A survey by the Equality and Human Rights Commission found a staggering 77% of mothers have suffered these negative discriminatory experiences. 54,000 mothers every year are reporting feeling forced to leave their jobs. But only about 1% go to an employment tribunal. Donna's story highlights how widespread this can be and has been. Women who come back from maternity leave have far too much power.
