The Power of Text With Charts
The power of text in this con text is it can add additional information to explain why a certain phenomena is happening. So it really plays in nicely with the chart. Because if the chart is emphasizing a trend or a peak, and the text is describing the peak, but also perhaps explain in why that is happening, readers take away from both pieces of information. And so having the research side of the book explain very, very, very clearly, this is why, and this is what we've seen. To this effect, it really satisfies my inner four year old.
