A suspect is in custody, 39 year old darrell brooks from milwaukee. Police say the incident began with a domestic disturbance and they say he has a long criminal history. Earlier this month, brooks was charged with battery and domestic abuse after the mother of his child said he intentionally and without consent, ran her over with his vehicle. He was released from jail just 11 days ago after posting a one thousand dollar bail,. The district attorney called that inappropriately low considering brooks's criminal history.
