The Christian Culture of Chick-Fil-A

S. Truett Cathy and his sons gradually took over the business from their father in advance of Cathy's death in 2014. Their father was an unabashed evangelical, as were most Southern people of his generation. No Chick-fil-A locations are open regularly on Sundays. They all shut down for the entirety of the Sabbath - unheard of for a national chain these days.
