The History of the Ming Dynasty

The Jia Ching Emperor ruled a long time, but the dynasty was in decline. His failure to show leadership to revive things kept the Ming Dynasty on a slow and steady course towards extinction. We'll pick up next week where we will finish off the Ming in 1644 and take a close look at how the Manchus rode in from the North and swept the Ming from power. That's all for next time.
