How to Stop a Vampire?

In ancient mediaeval times, garlic was a sort of white magic. It was believed to have healing properties and thus automatically countered evil. You should eat garlic, but you should also rub it on windows, keyholes and door frames to seal your house off from vampires. Further, you have to think about your animals. Once the hungry vampire learns that they can't get your home, well, they don't have any issue with snacking on the occasional sheep or 12. Perhaps my favorite way to repel a vampire is taking a large black dog and painting an extra set of eyes on his forehead. This repulses vam pires and probably non vampires. Just a word of warning
