Georgia's Influx of Russians Is Causing Unease Among Georgians

Around 10,000 Russian citizens have been entering the Republic of Georgia daily since the call-up was announced. This influx is causing unease among Georgians who have a tangled history with their northern neighbor. They remember their own war with Russia in 2008 over the breakaway region of South Ossetia. When this war started, it was Ukrainian women and children fleeing the Russian army. Now Russian men are fleeing their own military.
