Thomas Thomas City is an acronym standing for Thomas Thomas City consistency, isolation, durability. The problem is that the different databases kind of adhere differently to those interpretations and those definitions so it doesn't really mean as much. Base stands for basically available soft state and official mental consistency. And all it really means is not very acidic.
