The Heat Dome in Phoenix, Arizona
After 11 straight days of at least 110 degrees, people in Phoenix are trying anything they can to cool down. Dozens of hydration and cooling spots are open all over the city for anyone needing a break from the brutal heat. Second Montpelier Vermon's capital is plunged in flood water. The dam is at capacity, rising 43 feet over 18 hours after days of intense rain.
